Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University BSMRMU Admission Result 2021, The admission test for the first year of graduation of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University for the academic year 2020-21 will be held on November 19 and 20.

The university announced the date of the admission test at a meeting of the Bangladesh University Council, an organization of vice-chancellors, on Thursday.

It is learned that this time the admission test of this university will be held in 4 divisional cities of the country (Dhaka, Chittagong, Rangpur and Khulna). When the admission test of which faculty will be held will be finalized at the meeting of the Academic Council of the University.

According to sources, admission tests of four faculties will be held on November 19 and 20 in two shifts. The faculties are the Faculty of Maritime Governance, the Faculty of Shipping Administration, the Faculty of Earth and Ocean Science and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.

Admission Requirements : B.Sc in Oceanography
The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Science in Oceanography programme are as follows:

Applicants who have passed HSC or equivalent examination in the current or previous year are eligible to apply.
Applicants must have passed HSC/equivalent examination and SSC/equivalent examination from science group with minimum GPA 4.00. Applicants of Oceanography must have Biology in HSC
In HSC/equivalent examination, applicants must have obtained minimum ‘A’ grade in any two subjects from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology with minimum ‘B+’ grade in rest of the subjects.
Applicants with GCE must have passed minimum five subjects in O-Level including Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and minimum two subjects in A-Level including Mathematics and Physics. Applicants of Oceanography must also have Biology in A-Level. However, an applicant having more than two ‘C’ grades in O-Level and/or more than one ‘C’ grade in A-Level shall be ineligible for admission.
