In the financial year 2021-2022, the government will give merit scholarships and general scholarships to 393 students who have passed honours (2015-2016) and 309 students who have passed degree (2016-2017) on the basis of the results of the national university examination. The Ministry of Education has directed the National University to publish the list of students who have received merit scholarships and general scholarships by April 7.

The selected students who receive 18 merit scholarships in honours will get a monthly grant of tk 1125 and a one-time grant (annual) of tk 1,800. And 375 general scholarship holders will get a monthly grant of tk 450 and a one-time grant (annual) of tk 900. (The duration of the scholarship is 1 year).

And 300 general scholarship holders will get a monthly grant of tk 375 and a one-time grant (annual) of tk 600. (The duration of the scholarship is 2 years).
