Govt School Admission Result 2022 – Merit & Waiting List Admission process in government and private secondary schools of metropolitan and district level of the country from first class to ninth class in 2022 academic year is going on centrally through online lottery. The Department of Secondary and Higher Education has announced the process of admission of students in the public and private educational institutions which could not participate in the central admission process.

On Thursday (December 2), the Department of Secondary and Higher Education sent a letter to the headmasters of all government and private secondary schools informing them of the admission process.

In it, the department says, in the 2022 academic year, in all government and private secondary schools across the country, in case of admission of students from first to ninth class, no other examination can be taken except selection of students through lottery.

The fee for the application form for admission of students as directed by the Ministry of Education in the 2022 academic year cannot be taken more than 110 rupees in the case of public and private schools.

In case of admission of students in government secondary schools, students have to be selected through lottery process in the presence of Dhaka Metropolitan or District or Upazila Admission Committee constituted in Government Secondary School Student Admission Policy (Revised-2021).

In the case of private secondary schools, students have to be selected through lottery process in the presence of the metropolitan or district or upazila admission monitoring and monitoring committee constituted in the latest policy issued by the Ministry of Education.

To ensure the transparency and accountability of the lottery, the school admission management committee, in the case of Dhaka metropolis, the representative of the Ministry of Education, the director general has to ensure the presence of the representative, the parent representative, the management committee representative and the teacher representative.

In the 2022 academic year, the process of selecting students through lottery in government and private secondary schools must be done by December 30.

In accordance with the rules of hygiene, arrangements have to be made to conduct lottery activities while maintaining social distance. If necessary, the assistance of law enforcement should be taken.

The head of the institution should ensure that the student selection process through lottery is not questioned in any way.

The Department of Secondary and Higher Education has directed to conduct the admission process in the public and private schools which could not participate in the central admission process.
