Talking to DPE officials, it is learned that it has been decided to publish the results of the primary scholarship examination within the next two or three days. The results of the scholarship examination can be found on the website of the Department of Primary Education. Besides, the results of the scholarship will also be known by the concerned institution.
Shah Rezwan Hayat, director general of the Directorate of Primary Education, said on Sunday (February 26) that the results of the scholarship examination will be published within the next two to three days. However, the results are likely to be published on Tuesday, he added.

It is learned that this time 82,500 students will get scholarships in the primary. Of these, 33,000 students in talent pool and 49,500 students in general grade will get scholarships. In the case of talent pool scholarship, 50 percent of the total scholarship will be given according to the gender-based merit among the students and 50 percent of the students based on the number of students participating in the upazila-based primary education closing examination. Scholarship recipients in the talent-pool will get Tk 300 per month and those in general grade will get Tk 225 per month.
Earlier, the primary scholarship test was held on December 30. After 13 long years, the fifth-grade students of the government primary school sat separately in the scholarship examination. The exam was held at various centres across the country. About 6 00,000 students took part in it. The exam begins at 10 am. The two-hour test ended at 12 noon.
Students took part in the examination of 100 marks in Bangla, Mathematics, English, and Science. The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education decided to take the scholarship test of the students through this examination as the primary closing examination was closed. 20 percent of the students from each school take part in this examination through the school’s annual assessment test.
