This time too admission will be done through online selection based on the results of SSC or equivalent examinations. The Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Ministry of Education on Thursday night (December 30) published the rules for admission to Class XI in the academic year 2021-22.

It said the aden fee for online admission is Rs 150. A student can apply on a preferred basis in a minimum of 5 colleges or equivalent institutions. Out of all colleges applying, his position will be determined in a single college on the basis of merit quota and preference.

The application will be verified and settled between January 17 and 21. The application sequence can be changed from the date of application till January 24.

The results of the thom phase will be released at 8pm on January 29. The selection has to be ensured from January 30 to February 6. If the selection is not confirmed, the first phase of selection will be cancelled and a fresh application has to be made.

The second phase of application is received from 7pm to 8pm on February 8. The results of migration will be released at 8 pm on February 10 as per the order of choice. The selection has to be ensured between February 11 and 8 pm on February 12. If the selection is not confirmed, the application will be cancelled and a fresh application has to be made.

The third phase of application has to be made by 8pm on February 13. The results of migration are published as per the order of choice till 8 pm on February 15. The application will be cancelled if the selection is not confirmed. The third phase of admission is from February 19 to 24. The class will start on March 2.

No admission can be made manually except online to anyone except the disabled.

In case of admission, 95 per cent of the seats in the respective colleges or equivalent institutions will be open to all, which will be selected on merit. 5 per cent of the total seats after admission on merit will be reserved for the children of the freedom fighter or children of the child. If candidates are not found in the appropriate quota, this seat will not be effective.

Only those who have passed ssc examination as disabled can apply for admission manually to the concerned board.

Children of expatriates, students passing out of BKSP or awardees for outstanding contribution at departmental or national level in sports and cultural fields can apply manually to the board for admission.

In case of Madrassa Education Board, Board of Technical Education and Bangladesh Open University, grade points and marks obtained should be calculated at par. In addition, grade points and marks obtained in different years should be calculated at par.

If gpa is the same in case of admission of one group candidate to another group, merit order will be determined on the basis of total marks obtained. In this case, if the complications arising out of selection of candidates are not resolved, the marks obtained in English, Mathematics and Bengali subjects should be taken into account in a phased manner.

Whatever may be contained in this policy, students who have passed out of their own institutions in the case of schools and colleges or equivalent institutions will get priority admission.
